The zinefest is being held at The People’s History Museum this year, we are incredibly excited about this for various reasons but especially due to the accessibility.
All stallholders will be located on the ground floor in the Engine Hall.
All workshops will take place on the ground floor in the Learning Studio – accessed via the Engine Hall.
There will be a pop-up Salford Zine Library on the first floor of the Engine Hall accessible via stairs or lift. We will ensure clear signage for this.
Please note: we will be holding an accessibility hour from 11am-12 midday. We encourage visitors without accessibility needs to attend the zinefest after 12 midday to ensure a more stress free experience for those with accessibility needs between 11am and 12 midday.
We will not be playing background music during any part of the zinefest to reduce noise levels.
The museum has gender neutral toilets which are also accessible to those with a disability.
The museum has a section on their website with further details about accessibility which includes floorplans.
Euan’s guide (disabled access review website) have information as well:
